Show-And-Tell: Moon Messages

657084_full_moon I apologize for my scarcity of late; I should be back online next week.  Lest everyone think I've forgotten my blog, here's this week's recommendation:

Moon Messages, is a division of AstroWisdom.com, site of professional astrologer Lisa Dale Miller.  Each Full and New Moon Lisa writes a lovely page that sums up the astrological energies affecting the Lunar cycle for the month, and gives suggestions for ritual and personal spiritual work to take advantage of the rise and fall of the planetary tides.

The site is constructed a bit oddly, but any navigational quirks are easily overcome by the quality of the material.  Her descriptions are poetic, her suggestions both practical and inspiring.  I consult "This Full Moon" and "This New Moon" every month to get ideas for my own work as well as to keep an eye on what the hell is going on with the stars (Right now, a lot, and most of it sucks--Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron are all in retrograde.  I'll be hiding under my desk if anyone needs me.).

So if you're looking for Esbat ideas, curious about astrological forces at work in the world, or simply want to come more fully into alignment with the Moon, I highly recommend Moon Messages.

A blessed Full Moon and weekend to all.

Maybe you'll find this site's astrological work also helpful-
"'The Soul’s Desire' is
written for your Soul to illuminate how what is happening is in fact
revealing who you are as a divine essence seeking richer experience
of itself. You'll also find an array of articles written by individuals
working in a Soul or an evolution of consciousness framework."

while is still may be painful, still encouraging when feeling like ducking under the desk
