2008...Second Verse, Same as the First

Blessings all, and a bright and blessed New Year to everyone.

It seems that the way blogging works is that the author spends half her time writing posts and the other half apologizing for not writing enough posts.  It's difficult to come up with new and interesting things to say several times a week, particularly on a site with limited subject matter--hence all my non-spiritual posts about funny things, Ten Things I Love, and so forth.

So, while I'm waiting for my muse to slap me on the ass again, and while I'm getting some topical posts together for next week, I thought I'd revisit something I had fun with last June:  Seldom-Asked Questions.

This is your chance to find out random things about yours truly.  Ask me a question.  Anything, within reason.

If there's something you'd like to know about me as a person, Pagan, author, whatever, fire away.  Want to know if I prefer Coke or Pepsi?  My favorite liqueur?  Who do I think is hotter, Angel or Spike?  *  Be as random as you like.

Answers will be compiled into a "Seldom-Asked Questions" entry.  Obviously if I think your question is inappropriate, I'll ignore you, and if something like it has already been asked I'll combine the two somehow.

-

* - Coke; Amaretto; and Angel for looks, Spike for attitude.

Hi Dianne! I have been missing your posts, but I sure understand the problem of coming up with interesting things to say. I don´t mind you writing less often, but I would be very sad if you quit blogging for good!

I´m interested to know more about you as an author. How do you structure your work when writing a book? What is the difference in writing about paganism and writing about other subjects?

Hope I made myself understood. I´m not so used in writing in English. :-D

Greetings/Ceriadwen from Sweden

Hello Dianne,

I've noticed that your taste in books and movies seems to match mine alot (emmet otter's jug band christmas). I was just curious to know if you saw Brokeback Mountain and what you thought about it?

p.s. Write another book soon. One every six months would be lovely.

thanks,
Joe

My question would be .... what was the first book you read on Wicca/Paganism?

For me it was Witchcraft:The Old Religion by Leo Martello. I read that book from cover to cover in one sitting (in early 1988) filled with jaw-dropping awe that I had found a name for what I believed.

Blessings

Mama Kelly

I don't think that there is a real answer to who is hotter, Angel or Spike, they both exude their own brand of hot *wink*. My question is: Have you ever toyed with writing fiction, why or why not and would it have a pagan/witch/vampire/insert other worldly being here theme?

Magickal Blessings,
Veleda Spakona

Some random questions:

- How did you picture your future ten year ago? How about twenty?

- What are you dancing to these days?

- Do you bake?

- Do you ever wear a ponytail?
