About the Author

Dianne Sylvan is a smart-mouthed vegan wannabe who bakes like a goddess and bitches like a double Scorpio (both of which she is).

She's the author of The Circle Within: Creating a Wiccan Spiritual Tradition and The Body Sacred, and has been a Pagan for fifteen years, a Texan for 31, and a blogger for four.

After practicing Wicca in one form or another for fifteen years, she declared herself label-free and is currently practicing a more fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants spirituality that blends Paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, yoga, veganism, kitchen Witchery, various forms of mysticism, and a spoonful of pragmatic joy.  This site, now in its fifth (sixth?) incarnation, is a place for her to write about all of those things and more. 

She lives in Austin, Texas, with her two meow-beasties Stella and Owen. She enjoys Prismacolors, collecting cookbooks, baking and eating cupcakes, doing ecstatic dance and Nia, making mix CDs, and talking about herself in the third person.
