1 ~ I love, love, love the Six of Water from Joanna Powell Colbert's Gaian Tarot deck.
2 ~ I love "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers.
3 ~ I love the Harry Potter Quote Conjurer from The Leaky Cauldron.
4 ~ I love Pilot P-500 Extra Fine black pens.
5 ~ I love Dagoba chocolate, especially the Xocolatl and Mint bars.
6 ~ I love beagles.
7 ~ I love the memory of sitting by my father in the pharmacy, on a high stool, using one of his pill counters to count Skittles into a prescription bottle while he counted actual pills. It was there, behind the huge window overlooking Wal Mart, that I learned how to spell things like "acetylsalicylic acid," which would make me look both precocious and pretentious in second grade.
8 ~ I love my two stuffed frogs, Rupert (who lives on my monitor at work) and Neville (who lives in my car). They both have beanie feet and winsome expressions.
9 ~ I love the word "frangipani," particularly in Tori Amos's song "Datura," which is another thing I love.
10 ~ Go ahead and scoff if you must, but I love the movie Practical Magic.
#10 - me too...

Thought it was cool that Joanna reads your bloggie http://gaiantarot.typepad.com/artists_journal/
Practical magic - love it too. It's got a lot of good advice in it about magick. Like the film The Butcher's Wife does. And some trivia: PM was filmed on Whidbey Island Washington. They painted an entire downtown white just to look east coast. I'm thinking it was Coupville. I used to live on the island a long time ago in a galaxy... you know the rest. :-) Map http://www.sanjuansafaris.com/map_of_whidbeyisland.html yup... just looked up some photos and that's the place. http://www.anchorage-inn.com/activities.html

Re: Practical Magic... I love both the Book and the Movie... I'm one of those rare folks who can appreciate movie adaptations of books and books that fun movies were (sometimes loosely based on)
One of my many idle fantasies has been to figure a way to set up candles for a public ritual that light when blown upon... I keep looking occasionally for stage magic tricks related to that effect... it was probably digital though.. (sigh)
Anyhow it is wonderful to see you posting again Ms. Sylvan! Thanks for your witty and wonderful words.
Peace,
Pax

I think TypePad hates me, for no apparent reason at all, the bastard. All I wanted to do was second (or third, rather), the love of Tori Amos' Datura. But no, it doesn't like to let me post, the stupid thing, whine whine, grump grump.

Several of my own loves are on your list ... including Practical Magic which I love both the written and film version of equally.
