There's been a new addition to the family here at the Sylvanstead.
This is Owen:
He's about three months old and full of energy, affection, and noise. He and Stella are getting along, in that they beat each other up and then fall asleep in a kitty yin/yang configuration.
I'm going to end up a crazy cat lady, I swear. Thankfully my apartment (and my budget) can only handle two cats max. I'd forgotten how much growing boys eat (and poop, good lord).
He's going to be enormous--you should see the size of his feet and the length of his tail! This pleases me, as I love great big kitties.
In this picture he's asking, "Mom? When did you say payday was? I'd really like some gooshyfood. And treats. And fresh catnip. Oh, and you should PET ME!!! Pet me or I'll chew through your iPod cable, I swear! I am LoCuteness of Borg!* You will submit to my soft and fuzzy paws! Resistance is futile!"
* - Thank you, Lorrie of the Lake, for that one.
Oh man, you just made the trekkie happy. Owen is adorable!

Don't tell him that you forgot to post about him immediately. Cats don't forgive those kinds of slights easily. That will cost you lots of squishy food...

And he's aaaaddddooooorrrabblllleee. And little right now...but he's so very catlike already and friendly.
Being that I *am* the senior crazy catlady, I approve. Owen rocks. (but then, what cat doesn't?)
