1 ~ I love having a DeviantArt account, because now I'm thinking of new bits of art to try--and I already created a new one, the Mandala on the front page, this week. Anything I can do to get my creative energy flowing positively is welcome.
2 ~ I love curling up in the Death Star with blankets and kitties and the pillows off my bed and spending long hours watching season 3 of Bones or season 2 of Torchwood on DVD. A hot beverage, sometimes a book, a bit of snack, and you have Sylvan's Post Raging Bacterial Sinusitis Convalescent Ward.
3 ~ I love soup. I've been living off Amy's Kitchen's canned varieties, most of which are vegan, and a handful of Progresso canned types that are also veg, like their Lentil soup. Yes, I can make my own soup, and soup is insanely easy to make, but I haven't had the energy to deal with actual food prep. Right now I'm enjoying anything that reminds me of chicken noodle, the go-to soup in most Southern families for colds and flu. Potato soup ranks high on that list too.
4 ~ I loved the movie Wanted with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman. It was a cross between Fight Club and the Matrix, and I didn't figure out the ending beforehand, which is rare for me. And the main character was just a badass all around. (Did you see those pecs?) I didn't like the whole exploding rat thing, or the shooting of dead pig corpses, but it didn't horrify me as much as it might have, mostly because it was pretty obvious the rats were CGI. I'm not a huge Jolie fan--I honestly don't get the attraction, the woman is a sack of antlers with big lips, but back when she used to eat, she was much more attractive to me. Still, watching her as the assassin Fox was rather sexy indeed.
5 ~ I love my Northern Nights flannel bedsheets. They're warm, but lightweight, and keep me toasty and soft all through the winter.
6 ~ I love waking up pinned to the bed by two cats who've velcroed themselves to my legs to keep warm.
7 ~ I love my two silly winter hats--one crocheted by S1ren, black with kitty ears; the other floppy and shaped like Maggie Simpson's head, made by Jewel. I'm becoming qute a closet fan of silly winter hats.
8 ~ I love having health insurance. I realize what a huge blessing that is when so many people can't afford it. But though coming up with the money to go to the doctor and get my infection taken care of was stressful, at least it was a lot less with my insurance. Generic drugs, hallelujah. This sinus infection has cost me about $100 if you total up doc visits, prescriptions, OTC drugs, and soup. But without the insurance it would have been much much worse.
9 ~ I love that I'm finally having small breakthroughs that I hope will add up to some real changes in the next Turning. I'll have more to say about that later, both here and on Stumbling Towards Ahimsa.
10 ~ I love Broccoli Kitten.

Happy you are feeling better! At least I now know that my cat isn't alone in strange food likings. She really likes cabbage.

Your mandala is startlingly beautiful. I'm going to go back and stare at it for a while.
I really like the idea of the half moons as ying yangs. Awesome.

Missing Chicken Noodle Soup? Try http://www.amazon.com/Rapunzel-Pure-Organics-Vegetable-Bouillon/dp/B001E5DZJ8 I'm sitting here having some right now and it's awesome and it's organic and vegan. It fooled my grandmother! It's so close to a poultry flavor that it works really great in seitan.
